Norm Knott—Rockford, Illinois
Working currently in mixed media and jewelry; I have incorporated themes as varied as religious diversity to human rights, touching on historical and environmental preservation along the way to finished works of art. Using recycled elements within most of my pieces I hope to elevate the consciousness of the viewer with beauty as the key to heightened awareness. Drawing on five decades of academic/self-taught art studies (with more than forty awards since age twelve); I hope to inspire the viewer to create something too- whether it is art, planting a tree, or building a better world for the generations to come.
