Meet this year’s Judge

We’re happy to introduce the 2022 Greenwich Village Art Fair Judge, Steven Anderson.

Steven has worked and exhibited in Milwaukee area galleries and museums for the past 25 years. He is currently the Exhibitions & Collections Manager at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in Wisconsin. In addition, he has a ceramics studio, IronClayWorks, with his wife Christine at their Bay View home. He has a BFA from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Post Baccalaureate from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, both in Art Education. He also has a Master Gardener Certification from the Wisconsin DNR. He has extensive experience in generating, designing, preparing, handling, installing and maintaining exhibits and objects of all kinds. Past professional positions include; Exhibitions Preparator for the John Michael Kohler Art Center in Wisconsin, Conservation Assistant at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Operations Manager for the Michael Lord Gallery in Milwaukee, Head Preparator at the Haggerty Art Museum at Marquette University in Milwaukee and Program Manager for the Union Craft Centre at UW-Milwaukee. In his spare time, he enjoys his cats, biking, kayaking, reading, music and creating an urban forest at his home in a city on a great lake.
